Pick a topic that you are familiar with and that has an audience that shares your passions. This should eliminate a lot of options since most people don’t like a lot of topics. Once you’ve narrowed down your choices, it’s time to choose a domain name and hosting company.
Finally, build the site! One of the easiest things to do when building a new blog is to use WordPress, the free platform created by blogging giant WordPress. You’ll need to install some plugins, such as the popular Google Analytics, in order to get more information about your visitors. In addition, if you want to integrate analytics into your blog posts, you’ll need to purchase the Google AdWords plugin, which allows you to place targeted ads on your blog posts.
